How to Raise a Complaint

Last updated: October 2026

Uplong Remodeling wants every homeowner who reaches out to be treated fairly and honestly. If something went wrong, please tell us. This page explains how to raise a concern and what happens afterward. It is a general template and is not legal advice.

What You Can Tell Us About

You are welcome to contact us about:

  • What your experience was like when you called or contacted Uplong Remodeling
  • The way we handled your personal information
  • Anything on this site that seems unclear or wrong
  • The behavior of a provider we connected you with

If the Problem Is With a Provider

Providers in our network are independent businesses. Each is responsible for its own quotes, contracts, prices, work and customer service. If a remodeling project has gone off track, the usual first step is to raise it with the provider directly. Keep a written record of what was said, much like keeping a receipt in case you need it later.

We still want to hear about it. Feedback helps us keep our network honest, and providers who repeatedly fall short of what we expect may be removed. Please know that Uplong Remodeling cannot settle contract disputes, issue refunds for a provider's work, or act on a provider's behalf.

How to Send Your Complaint

Email contact@uplong.garden and include:

  • Your name and the easiest way to reach you
  • The date you contacted us or the provider
  • The phone number you called or the form you used, if you remember
  • The provider's name, if you know it
  • A clear account of what happened and what outcome you hope for

What Comes Next

We will confirm by email that we received your complaint, usually within a few business days. Then we will look into what happened, which may include contacting the provider. After that, we will let you know what we found and any steps we are taking.

If You Are Still Unhappy

If our reply does not satisfy you, answer our email and ask us to look again. You can also reach out to your state's consumer protection office or attorney general, or to your local Better Business Bureau. For trouble with a contractor, your state or local contractor licensing board may be able to help too.
